About the Artïst


Ione K. Birdman - [Sculptor - Designer - Writer - Editor - Producer] 
Born in Eastern Samoan 1980 and is of full Samoan heritage, Ione K. Birdman is from Tafuna. Ione has been praised as one of the most naturally talented Pacific Islander Artists able to manage many forms of artistic styles. His art has been compared to other current and past Pacific Islander sculpting and carving masters with most of his early work showing diverse abilities. Ione began sculpting at the age of 22 after studying Polynsian Bone carving for 4 years and opened IKB Arts Studio in 2013. Ione K. Birdman still lives in the DFW Irving-Euless Texas area.
